global warming
Most scientists agree that greenhouse gases from fossil fuels have contributed to the warming of the planet in the past few decades but have questioned whether a brighter Sun is also responsible for rising temperatures. I haven't seen the film, so I cannot give a credible review of it. However, it has recently been pointed out to me by one of my professors that greenhouse gasses may be ONE reason for global warming, but there is also another reason for global warming: the sun is getting hotter. Before we jump to conclusions and pat good ol' Al on the back maybe we should look through the political smoke screen to the real problem so that we can find the real solution. (Cursed be the Ford Excursion & GM Hummer; seriously, though, I am certainly upset about the polluting of the earth. . .but that may be an entirely different issue relatively unrelated to global warming. . .just a thought.)
